02 — How it's built
A floor is specified before the walls exist and installed after everything else is finished. It is the only surface that has to survive the entire build.
Every Terra Legno plank is built on a Baltic-birch cross-ply core — seven sub-layers laid in opposing grain, so the board holds its geometry through the seasonal movement that cups, gaps and delaminates lesser floors. Wear layer and core are specified together, never in isolation: below a 4 mm sawn face a wide plank has no margin for refinishing, or for the stress a large board carries. Above five inches it is nailed and glued, not floated — because width is a structural decision, not an aesthetic one.
